Book Club

We will be meeting Monday, April 27 th to discuss The Forgotten 500 by Gregory A. Freeman (Nonfiction). During a bombing campaign over Romanian oil fields in WWII, hundreds of American airmen were shot down in Nazi-occupied Yugoslavia. This is a true story of how local Serbian farmers and peasants risked their own lives to give refuge to the soldiers while they waited for rescue.
