Lutheran Church Women – The next meeting of the St. James Women will be held on March 6th at 11:30 AM. All women are welcome to come and join us. Bring a sandwich, beverages and dessert will be provided. At present, we are preparing for the Cluster gathering of Women of the EvangelicalLutheranChurch inAmerica which we will be hosting on April 21 at 9:00 AM.

Our next Positive Change Sunday will be March 4 when the children will be joyfully and noisily collecting loose change for the benefit of Robin’s Nest, Inc.

Youth Forum
There is a Forum for Middle School and High School Youth at 9:45 am (from September to May).

Youth Activities

Flower Bulbs – Spring is just around the corner! Beginning on Feb. 19 the Youth group will be selling flower bulbs and kits for $6.00. Proceeds will sponsor Youth events (including the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans). See a Youth group member or advisor details.

YOUTH GRADES 6-9! It is time to plan for the annualWashington,D.C. Servant trip. This trip will be June 26-30. See Diane Durham for any questions.

Smoke Free Property

With the church’s concern for fostering good health and nurture of
body, mind and soul, the congregation council at its meeting on April
10th designated the building and grounds of St James a Smoke Free
Property. We thank you for your cooperation and concern for the
well-being of all!

A dedicated group of knitters and crocheters meets each month on the first and third Wednesdays at 7:30pm. Beginners are welcome, or if you would like to learn a new skill, please join us.
